I am sorry this has taken so long to post, but it took me awhile to figure out how.  This is Stephen's mother.  Stephen passed from this life and went home to be with his Lord on September 30, 2014.  Thankfully, he went peacefully and quickly.  He was so ready.  As you can see, he had not blogged in quite awhile, as typing had gotten to be so hard for him.  I want to leave you all with one last writing of his that I believe is fitting at this time:

If I was in Heaven, I would be running through a grass clearing inside a garden with my arms held wide, taking in the sun and inhaling the fresh tasting air. I close my eyes with a smile on my face and praise the Lord for bringing me to such a beautiful and peaceful place.
I open my eyes to Jesus standing in front of me. He smiles and holds out His hand to me. I take it and we walk together down the shore of a stream trickling through the garden. I look back for a second and smile, giving a wave to my family back on world below.

Until me meet again in Heaven my sweet son......

I found Stephens blog a few years ago, and enjoyed reading his postings. So much so he allowed me to post his posting on his unbreakable faith in God entitled "God is Still God and God is Still Good" Thoughts are with your family at this time and we will see him again one day. Thank you for sharing your story Stephen.

RIP Stephen. Thank you for everything that you taught me in your time here, and I look forward to being with you again one day.

You should be very proud not only of Stephen, but also yourselves as parents. Obviously you did a remarkable job taking care of him but I am not referring to the tasks but to the lessons you taught by your example.
Stephen was not a godly man by chance. He learned by the example of character and love which you both displayed. This was such an encouragement to me and to many.
Stephen's flame has not been extinguished, the lamp has just been put out because the dawn has come!
